1987 ~ Excel purchased Circuit Boards of America, a leading Michigan based circuit manufacturing facility.  This increased production capabilities by more than 120%.

In 1988, Excel's owners & management staff, working closely with a professional architectural firm,  began design of a new, ground-up facility.  Construction began shortly thereafter.
Built specifically for printed circuit manufacturing, the new facility is approximately 30 thousand square feet.
By mid-summer 1990, all manufacturing activities from both the original Excel location & the CBA facility were merged and performed at the new facility, conveniently located in Orion, Michigan, about 40 miles North of Detroit.

Since 2000, Excel's service expansions include the addition of White Tin as an alternative for Hot Air Leveling. This environmentally safe process provides our customers with superior planarity for surface mount pads, and extended shelf-life.

Excel is dedicated to continuous improvement and growth.
